Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you'll make. If you’ve never considered a Catholic school, now is the perfect time to discover what we can offer your family.

Catholic education has always been a popular choice for Australian families. Today, one in every five NSW students attends a Catholic school.

Our schools are as diverse as the communities they operate in. Regardless of background or beliefs, our schools are open to all who share in our mission and purpose and we welcome and include families from all faith traditions (or none).

Our diocesan primary, secondary, and K-12 schools offer both a supportive local community and the advantage of knowing you have access to specialist support services from our Catholic Education Office.

Local community with the strength of a system

We’re part of the Catholic Schools NSW network, the largest non-government education network in Australia (in fact, it's larger than the public education systems of South Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory, and the ACT).

While each of our 38 schools has its own distinct character and community, they all benefit from the support of experts in learning, wellbeing, faith and more. Through our Wollongong and Campbelltown Catholic Education Office centres, schools have access to a range of specialist support resources, which means teachers can spend more time on the core work of teaching and learning.

The result? Every student has the support of the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong system behind them, as well as the passionate and highly skilled teachers at their school.
